Announcements
* The sanctuary flowers today are in honor of two wedding anniversaries: Howard and Adeline Berger were married Sept. 1, 1940, and Bud and Char Moon were married Sept. 4, 1960, 70 and 50 years ago, respectively.
* Beginning this Tuesday, Sept. 7, a ladies walking group will meet each Tuesday and Thursday morning at 7:45 am for exercise and to memorize scripture. Any pre-school children should be in strollers or on bikes to allow a brisk pace. Allow 45 minutes to an hour.
* Please remember to help support our school with the following Home & School sponsored fundraisers: Super One receipts, Campbell’s UPC Label Point, Box Tops, and Kemp’s 5 cent milk caps. Containers are located in the Coat Room for your convenience.
* There will be a Father-Children backpacking trip Sept. 17 up to the Porkies. We will be camping about 1.5 miles from the parking lot. If you are interested, please contact Bud Moon or Greg Zinke. If you need to borrow some gear, we have some available.
* Women of the U.P. Retreat at Camp Sagola is planned for Sept. 17 to 19. The featured speaker will be Ginny Allen. To register call Susan Fass at (906) 875-4203.
* Michigan Men of Faith will meet Sept. 25 at Great Lakes Adventist Academy. Dr. Philip Samaan from Southern Adventist University will be the featured speaker. See poster in the foyer for more details.
