Sept 28 2019 on a beautiful Sabbath afternoon Elijah Boerschinger was the first to be baptized in the new church. Even though it was not in the new church baptistery but in a cattle trough. The church had no window but the afternoon sun radiated though the window opening and created a pristine setting for Elijah’s decision to follow Jesus.

Makayla Zinke was baptized on September 10, 2016. Matthew 28:19-29: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
The Arroyo-Watson family moved here on July 11, 2016. Ronald is the new 5th-8th grade teacher at WJA. He also teachers 9th-10th grade math and science. Rachel is a homemaker. Eden is 7 and in 2nd grade. Haven is 5 and is in Kindergarten. Previous to moving to Wilson, they lived in South Carolina. Ronald has taught in South Korea, Tennessee, and Georgia. The warm reception by the Wilson church family and the outpouring of food and fellowship have been so greatly appreciated. They look forward to being a part of the Wilson church for years to come.
